Project & Event Management — Circuit Management New Projects When decisions are made to proceed with major events, IMM oversees new projects during the initial start-up period which normally begins before the commencement of final master plans and project sign-off. The process includes establishment of event program/format, operating structure, reporting systems, monitoring of business plans and operating budgets.

This is followed by selection and training of key management and senior staff leading to monitoring of the planning process and staging of the first events. IMM also undertake complete circuit facility management with an experienced team of experts managing the entire operation on behalf of the Client, especially for the first years of operation. IMM set up operational systems and engage and train local management and staff so they can take over the operations once the y become sufficiently experienced under IMM’s guidance. As part of event planning and management we also liaise with sporting authorities and relevant government authorities. In addition, we develop risk management plans, infrastructure requirements and manage stakeholder relations including public briefings.
Existing Circuits and Events Existing circuits and events constantly need to strive for excellence and continuous improvement. IMM provides experienced event management experts to review and oversee key aspects of event planning and event management on an event-by-event basis or long-term if required.
Consulting - Motor Sport Development & National Governance IMM has extensive experience in emerging markets where there may not be a long-established motor sports culture, tradition and governance structure but where there, on the other hand, are substantial growth and development opportunities. This growth requires appropriate national control and the ability to expand and upgrade administration, services and governance as the sport develops. IMM undertakes sports development projects for Governments, National Motorsports Governing Bodies and Sports Organisations, including national development plans (roadmaps), club development, youth development and training, organisational structures, development of operational and safety guidelines. We also provide direct operational management input during strategy implementation. |
